Cave Creek is a small town in Arizona's Sonoran desert. It lies in Maricopa County close to capital Phoenix and Glendale. This old west town is located in the northeastern part of the Valley adjacent to a community called Carefree. The suburb has a small population of slightly over 5000. It reminds one of the classic Wild, Wild West because of the presence of saloons and several horse properties in the old traditional style. Every year around May the Cave Creek Balloon festival takes place with fireworks and the most intricate hot air balloons.
